About Several Circles
Several Circles is an abstract painting created by Wassily Kandinsky in 1926 during his time at the Bauhaus school in Germany. The work features a composition of colorful circles of varying sizes set against a dark background. Kandinsky considered the circle to be one of the most fundamental forms in art, and this painting reflects his interest in the relationships between color, shape, and spatial harmony. Several Circles is regarded as one of the key examples of his mature abstract style.

About Wassily Kandinsky
Wassily Kandinsky (1866–1944) was a Russian painter and art theorist who is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of abstract art. He developed a style that emphasized colors, shapes, and lines rather than realistic representation. Throughout his career, Kandinsky worked in Russia, Germany, and France, and he was associated with influential artistic groups such as Der Blaue Reiter and the Bauhaus school. His writings on art, including Concerning the Spiritual in Art, had a lasting impact on modern art theory.
