Our Social Impact
Giving Back to the Communities That Inspire Us
At Today is Art Day, we believe in making a positive difference beyond our products. Through charitable donations, community partnerships, and industry involvement, we strive to give back in meaningful ways.
UNITED WAY
Supporting our Local Community
Every year, we make a monetary donation to Centraide Québec et Chaudière-Appalaches, our local United Way.
By supporting Centraide, we help a network of community organizations provide essential services to individuals and families in need.
It's our way of giving back to the community where Today is Art Day was founded.
1% for the Planet
Committing 1% for Good
We are proud members of 1% for the Planet, a global movement of businesses committed to supporting environmental causes.
We pledge 1% of our annual revenue through monetary donations and eligible in-kind contributions.
It's an ambitious but rewarding commitment that reflects our belief that businesses can be a force for good.
overstock
Giving Unsold Products a Second Life
We work with local organizations to ensure overstock, damaged packaging, or unsellable products can still benefit communities.
Our partners include:
· Samaritan’s Purse (USA)
· Reno-Jouets (Canada)
· Dons Solidaires (France)
These organizations distribute products to families, children, schools, and community programs, helping reduce waste while supporting local initiatives.
Museum Store Association
Supporting the Museum Community
For nearly a decade, Today is Art Day has been a proud supporter and active member of the Museum Store Association (MSA).
The MSA champions nonprofit retail professionals, particularly museum stores that play an essential role in supporting their institutions. By reinvesting their profits into their museums, these stores help fund exhibitions, educational programs, collections, and cultural initiatives.
Our CEO, David Beaulieu, has served on several MSA committees over the years and currently serves as Vendor Member Advisor for the North Atlantic Chapter.
In 2024, Today is Art Day hosted an MSA chapter meeting in Quebec City along with local institutions.
