In 1896, he became the first painter to be created a peer, with the title of Baron Leighton of Stretton. He died the day after his creation, on January 25, 1896, and his hereditary peerage thus ended after only one day of existence, a record in the history of the British peerage.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Frederic Leighton","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50851902390342,"sku":"TIADPINFLAMING","price":15.0,"currency_code":"CAD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1802\/5767\/files\/TIADPINFLAMING_01_b94426d7-9c2c-4252-b896-8d497c7cbc85.jpg?v=1793304969","url":"https:\/\/www.todayisartday.com\/fr-ca\/products\/pin-flaming-june-frederic-leighton","provider":"Today is Art Day","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
