Did you know that Facebook "nudity" detector/algorithm prevents us from selling some of our products on both Facebook and Instagram?
Crazy as this may sound, all our products featuring representations of Venus are banned by Facebook:
- Birth of Venus pin
- Birth of Venus patch
- Birth of Venus pop-up card
Even our game The Grand Museum of Art is blocked since the Venus de Milo is featured on the cover... I know! It's crazy!
Because we can see Venus' nipple (only one by the way), this is considered too sexy for Facebook.
This means we cannot tag our products when promoting these on the social network, preventing us to drive sales of these online. Here is the message we receive:
